The Director of Global Marketing will play a pivotal role in elevating Siemon’s technology leadership and driving enterprise growth. You will provide strategic direction for the global marketing function, ensuring our brand is consistently recognized and promoted. This individual will collaborate closely with the VP of Product Management, Global Sales Leadership, and Regional Marketing Champions to coordinate content, communications, strategic efforts, and public relations activities. By utilizing integrated marketing methods, this role will generate product, market, and corporate awareness, supporting key company initiatives designed to enhance our brand image, drive strategic growth, and stimulate sales. Based on Siemon leadership’s objectives and initiatives, the Director of Global Marketing will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of key marketing strategies, content generation, revenue marketing opportunities, and ensure global consistency. Will manage global marketing resources either directly or through subordinate supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree: BS/BA in Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of broad marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a marketing management role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive annual marketing plans.
- Excellent team building and facilitation skills, with a focus on mentorship and collaboration.
- Exceptional graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of network cabling, the telecommunications industry, and related technologies, applications, standards, and trends.
- Proven ability to drive revenue through effective marketing initiatives and content generation across various channels in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Experience building productive relationships with channel partners, strategic partners and complementary manufacturers.
- Previous experience with international & global marketing efforts and campaigns.
- Ability to craft clear and concise technical and marketing messages in various formats.
- Proficiency in design and presentation software, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Proven ability to manage marketing initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Experience driving the marketing and technology direction of global marketing deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
